owners can only open files in read only
Right now, I have several people that when they try to open files they are opening in read only. The msg says there is some issue with communicating with the server. However, I am able to go in and open the file with no issues. I have tried making everyone owners but that does not resolve the issue. we are on the verge of scrapping hundreds of hours of work on the SharePoint site and need help
- unfortunately seems this is a restriction inside SharePoint and syncing. See some post on possible enhancements to SharePoint to fix, but nothing for sure. Anyone have any ideas? Right now I have unsynced the team and that means they need to download files to be able to upload them into our ERP for backup. Adds an extra step and time that we really do not have
