Newly created SharePoint site won't let me edit
Greetings,
I'm currently building a new SharePoint site as the company's classic site is from 2011. I am in a virtual machine with access to SharePoint 2019 Management Powershell. Unfortunately, I do not have access to office 365.
I even tried to create a new site but even tho it looks modern the edit button on the right is not visible and I have to use the settings button up top to edit like it were a classic site. I've always worked with Modern sites so classic sites building is a bit confusing. Is there a way to turn our classic site into a modern site. If so, please provide guidance. Thanks In advance!
