MS-Access files in SharePoint Online
Hey guys,
As I progress on my SharePoint Online migration, I discover new surprises.
Here is the use case : MsAccess database of 500MB stored on the files servers … and there is 100 of them. According to online documentation, SharePoint Online can host those files (.accdb). It seems the SharePoint Migration Tool handles them as regular files and store them in the Documents library. At least, that's what I saw with my test.
Here is my question : Will OneDrive upload the entier file after each "save" ? or is it capable to do a delta and upload only the changes ? I think not, but I would like some feedback … or any other recommandations on how to handle those files.
Thanks in advance
- Its called Differential Sync which only sync parts of the files that changed . Yes OneDrive had this capability but only for MS Office files and not for all files that are stored
And there is a OneDrive Uservoice .. you must vote one here !
