hide library when user dont have permission

Hello and sorry for my English

I create modern SharePoint site (communication). On libraries, i break inherithing permission to set specific permissions. I deleted also limited perimissions on librairies.

So, when users connect to the SharePoint website, users can only see libraries in top navigation menu where they have permissions on it. So it is good.

But now, if users in library share one many documents to specific user. This user receive email with the link to the document (good), but in website, he can see  after this the Library in top navigation menu. he can't go in Library but he can see it in top menu navigation.

I dont understand this situation, why show the Library in menu but can 't go Inside to see share file...?!

thanks for explanation

And this is not a good thing. This

  • It's because limited access for that user is put on the library when you share a file, thus, allowing the user to see the library itself so it shows.

Yes user can see the library but when i click on it he can t see nothing.

If the document is share from root library he can see it but if the document is share from subfolders he can see nothing

That's because it's inside of a folder and all a folder is, is a view. If you changed your library settings to not use folders the file would show up. If you went in with a user that had permission to that folder, and went into it, then copied that URL and had the person with the file shared use that link it would show up as well.
