Document library doesn't appear for users in Excel/word

In the SharePoint library Settings → Permissions, give the user read permissions, and then see if the file is published as a major version, that's all.

Thanks for the reply.
I have already given the SharePoint site members edit permissions to the library, but the library doesn't show up automatically on their quick access within Excel/Word. I have already shared the site, but can't see a way to just share the document library.
