Greetings,I have created several libraries on my SP (O365) site.DocumentsPhotosTeam MaterialsSupportI also have a site call External Sharing withDocumentsPhoto SupportI want to go from Photos to Photo Support. The only copy or move options I get from within the Photos library is to go to the documents library of the external share. The external share does not show the photo support library as an option to copy/move to. Is this normal behavior? Thanks.

I have a document library on site one that is named photo assets and a photo support library that is a the photo library app added from the menu of adding apps. Both of them are called libraries when you add them. And if you have ten document libraries on site one and ten on another, no problems, everything can be copied from everywhere. What surprises me is not being able to take a folder of jpgs and move them to a photo library from a document library. Either on the same site or between sites. I do appreciate your responses and all the people here who answer my questions. This is invaluable assistance. Thanks, Rick

You should use a modern library for your photos. You can essentially have thumbnails and similar features now on a normal library. I use a regular one for my photos.

ChrisWebbTech Ahh. Understood. I just did that and made sure that the other site is also a document library called photo assets and, presto, all works fine. For context, we have a large set of photos that get chopped up for review by various clients in various folders. We now have those client files over on external site for sharing. Just renamed document libraries with the modern UI works fine. Thanks, Chris.

Apparently It works like this by design and I was not aware of this behavior that IMHO is not correct: we should be able to chose the document library in the destination site where we want to copy files

Rick Segal if you have permissions to the External Sharing > Photo Support you should see the document library in to the Move to / Copy to actions. See image below (copying from root to team sites). jcgonzalezmartin I ran a quick test in my development tenant and it works. Do you not see secondary document libraries when you Move to / Copy to? I apologize if I am not understanding the issue correctly. Norm

It should work. My guess is you created a photo library type instead of a document library that might not be using a modern template could be causing the issue?

Any metadata involved on the two libraries? It should still allow it if so but would be nice to know for next steps if the above isn’t the case.
