How to appeal a rejected partner profile in the verification process
Hi Jill,
We have been a partner for 5 years and this year Microsoft decided to "Verify the account and Employment. I went the route of providing the domain information. A Domain that we purchased via Microsoft 365. I needed to submit the invoice for the domain which renewed at the beinging of this month. However the verification was rejected because the domain name does not appear on the Microsoft Invoice. So microsoft are rejecting their own invoice as verification due to the fact that the domain name does not appear on it. Somehow this is now my problem to resolve. I opened up a support ticket and have phoned 4 times now, only to be told I will be called back which hasn't happened. Today our VS licenses expired due to our action packing expiring and I can't even buy monthly licenses. Basically our business has now come to a stop. Microsoft really need to get onto top of this ASAP as it is costing bsinesses!

I didn't register via MS, but another registrar, and this is what I had to do. Just make sure the account you setup is EXACTLY like it is on your Partner Center registration, or you will get rejected.
- kylar182Mar 29, 2024Brass ContributorOh my company actually just gave up Microsoft. We tried for 6 months off and on with rejection after rejection and no explanation. We now deal only with the app store and play store. My boss started making Windows apps in the 90's and was so mad he said "they couldn't pay me to go back." Anyway, best of luck to you.
