How to appeal a rejected partner profile in the verification process
VelociPartner You need to use your business account to register your Microsoft partner account in Partner Center. You can't register an account with your personal email account there.
Your domain receipt must show the same company name as you have registered in the Microsoft Partner center account.
Does that help clarify?
- VelociPartnerFeb 23, 2024Copper Contributor^-- this, unfortunately, is the correct answer and what I also had to do to get past this suboptimized process.

This was my same experience. Here's what I had to to:
- Make sure that the primary contact is going to be the EXACT same as what's going to show up on your domain registration invoice. I had to create a GoDaddy account with this information and transfer the domain, just to get the correct invoice configuration. Make sure that the Organization name is showing on the invoice (exactly as it appears for your company)
- Upload the Domain Invoice and Articles of Incorporation for the company. Make sure that it is EXACTLY the same as primary contact and domain invoice.
If you've been shut off from submitting through the "Fix Now" button, as I was, you will have to go the Help + support icon and create a ticket with the "Problem Summary" the name of the verification step; upload the documents there and, hopefully, you will get a different type of email than the seemingly AI generated response.
Again, this was very frustrating because it was all trial and error with no one to guide me on what exactly was wrong with the documentation I had previously provided numerous times.
Good luck!
- LoungesongFeb 22, 2024Copper ContributorI am in the same boat as many here. I'm so frustrated. They ask for a document, then I send it, and they reject it without a reason. I don't get it. Is the "person" replying via email just an AI?
Is there a human being at Microsoft that deals with partners? How can there not be a phone number. I know I only sell Microsoft365--is that why they just don't give a sh*t? - tcarternepheletechFeb 21, 2024Copper Contributor
I had to create a ticket by going to Help+Support icon at the top and create a separate ticket. Once you're blocked, you can only upload documents from the generic support ticket page.
- Robert_MuszalFeb 21, 2024Copper ContributorAfter fighting for 5 months with the same issue as you the only solution was to make new company for being new partner. The person who make this account veryfication is dumb as fu**

Thanks a lot !
Now my next problem is that I apparently reached some kind of limit for sending documents:
Is there a way to reactivate the field ? Or even start over the verification process ?

Yes, I had the same issue. I submitted my Microsoft Partner Center account around the same time as when I was setting up my domain. There was some mismatch between the details on my domain receipt from GoDaddy and my Partner Center account submittal. I wound up purchasing another year in advance from GoDaddy so they would update my receipt. Then I submitted the updated GoDaddy receipt and I was approved shortly thereafter.

I'm having the same issue, could you provide some details on what was your situation with your email and what did you do to fix it ? I think the source of my problem is close to yours.
I obviously did not sign up with an email using my domain before I bought my domain. I can't believe I'm saying it out loud.
Maybe Microsoft expected something like this usecase:
-Imagine you bought your domain two years ago and you are billed yearly
-Then you use this domain to buy Microsoft 365 licences and you create yourself a new work account mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons
-Because you think it is a good practice, you change your contact infos on the registrar to you brand new work email.
-Then you get your next invoice from the registrar where your domain and new work email are now displayed
-Then you use this account to join the Partners Program and only then you can provide an invoice where the information is what MS is expecting
Which makes it hell to people who recently purchased their domains and do not have enough background to join the Program or choose to join the Partners program with freshly created domains and companies (like in my case)
