Applied Skills Missing in Training Report
As a Microsoft Solutions Partner (approx 400 employees) we are working on creating a dashboard for managers to see how we are faring from a skilling perspective. This also helps us in the tracking and working towards retaining our specializations and designations.
So far we have used the Trainings Report derived from the downloads hub to feed our database with applicable certifications that are held by our employees.
That database we then used to also report on our skilling requirements for the solution area's and the specializations.
Recently Microsoft introduced new specializations (Copilot) and those specializations require Applied Skills to be held by employees.
These applied skills do not show in the trainings report offered by Microsoft. (E.g. APL-4002: Prepare security and compliance to support Microsoft 365 Copilot,APL-7008: Create agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio or DW-101: Copilot for Microsoft 365 Deployment Workshop )
As such we're wondering whether Microsoft is working on including these applied skills in the trainings reporting?
MarnixMoor I have been in contact with multiple people on this inquiry and what has been agreed on is the following:
This skills report can be found in partner center: Solutions Partner program Partner Capability Score - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn
I hope that settles it for you! Sorry for the delay.

Hi JillArmourMicrosoft , Thank you for all the support so far. I'm sorry to bother you still with this question, I don't think that answer is a viable solution:
The applied skills are mainly asked for the specializations and are not mentioned in that entire document?
When doing the reporting based on Microsoft learn we can see who finished the learningpaths/Modules but we can not see who passed the exam right? (there are only module and learning path categories in the export.)
So we would still have to manually check all the designated specializations.
My question back to you:
How difficult would it be for Microsoft to provide 1 skilling report that shares all training/learning/applied skilling information? All the relevant data is already shared through the partner portal so I am looking for the underlying reason not to do it in 1 document?

Hello MarnixMoor. I don't know a contact to ask this of, but I will do my best to track someone down internally.

Hi Jill,
Did you manage to find anyone who is involved with this part of the Partner Center?- JillArmourMicrosoft

MarnixMoor I have found someone that is working on this for you. She just responded this morning:
If this partner is in ESI Program or a managed partner, they should be able to see the applied skills report in ESI CXP Portal. If not, she will continue to look.
I have asked her for a link to the ESI CXP Portal, I'm waiting for that response.
