I am getting this to and there seems to be no fix. My email used to be quite nice with only emails I need coming. Now the last month or so I've been getting 10+ spam/phishing emails a day! Getting quite annoying hopefully someone sees this and makes a fix for it. Someone definitely found a way around their basic spam rules.
It was so frustrating! Since then I've already migrated part of my daily-use accounts to a Proton email address, and the rest will follow as I need them. Congratulations, Microsoft, there's one less user for you 🙂
