Outlook web Inbox button and others not working
As from today, the INBOX button or any other don't work; clicking on it won't take me back to the inbox view.
It only happens when I open an email or conversation of that particular folder and then want to return to the Inbox or that folder's view.
I have to click on another button, like DRAFTS, and then INBOX again to make it work.
It happens in both Chrome and Firefox, both with latest updates.
EDIT: As for 10 March the problem seems to be fixed.

- Ronni1580Copper ContributorIt's not just me, then! Hope this is soon resolved. It's pretty annoying.
- Donia StrandIron ContributorI hope this is not some sort of new feature, no one wants the extra clicking!

kanonkosmos Same issue in our company for all staff. It's a very annoying bug that reduces productivity.

- giorgilabCopper ContributorI have the exact same issue. Since the beginning of March 2023, clicking on "inbox" of Outlook web while having an email opened, doesn't bring me back to the list of emails in the inbox. The only workaround is clicking on a different folder (e.g. drafts) and then back to inbox. Microsoft, you have added an UNNECESSARY EXTRA CLICK to a VERY FREQUENT operation!
- dshastaCopper ContributorTrue. They could reduce another click if they added a feature from gmail which is the "Mark as unread" button inside an opened email. When you click it, it automatically takes you back to the inbox. You don't event need to click inbox. I've told them about this. not sure if they'll listen.
- Timothy AndersonBrass Contributorsame issue here.
- Judy_BjCopper ContributorI am having the same problem. It's annoying because now I have to tap the 'Close' button instead of the 'Inbox'. To do that, I have to scroll back up to the top of the email to get to that button. Don't like it at all. Problem just started about a week ago
- PhillbeeCopper ContributorJudy,
You shouldn't need to scroll up to the top of the email... in the OWA the Close command should be located in the top section above the email itself - next to Previous Next
- SuperDreCopper Contributoryep, same thing here. just like with the 'move to' not automatically putting the focus on the search box. You really wonder what these designers are thinking, clearly not with their head.
Now you have to close the mail just to get back to the inbox, very annoying. - CaroljeanleeCopper Contributor
kanonkosmos But if you click the back button on top left hand side this immediately brings you back to the inbox . You only have to click once.
