Outlook web Inbox button and others not working

I have the exact same issue. Since the beginning of March 2023, clicking on "inbox" of Outlook web while having an email opened, doesn't bring me back to the list of emails in the inbox. The only workaround is clicking on a different folder (e.g. drafts) and then back to inbox. Microsoft, you have added an UNNECESSARY EXTRA CLICK to a VERY FREQUENT operation!
True. They could reduce another click if they added a feature from gmail which is the "Mark as unread" button inside an opened email. When you click it, it automatically takes you back to the inbox. You don't event need to click inbox. I've told them about this. not sure if they'll listen.
