Outlook web Inbox button and others not working
As from today, the INBOX button or any other don't work; clicking on it won't take me back to the inbox view.
It only happens when I open an email or conversation of that particular folder and then want to return to the Inbox or that folder's view.
I have to click on another button, like DRAFTS, and then INBOX again to make it work.
It happens in both Chrome and Firefox, both with latest updates.
EDIT: As for 10 March the problem seems to be fixed.

As a short term fix, I have added my Inbox to my "favorites" tab within Outlook - this allows me to click between the "favorited" version and the actual Inbox - the bug doesn't seem to affect this and you can just switch orders from time to time.

I have the exact same issue. Anyone know if MS is working on a fix for it, or is this going to be permanent, like when the moved the "delete" icon to the far right of the screen?

I was thinking that the folks at Microsoft are also using Outlook. They have to know that it's an issue...unless they all are not using the web version...
- Same issue and you can use the close button but that is mega unlogical and unproductive please fix the issue!
- dshastaCopper Contributoras an addendum to my anti MS tirade below 🙂 I want to point out the fact that I clicked "Like" on Paul's comment and instead of liking his comment, it took me to a separate page that showed my all the people who "liked" his post. Instead I have to click the thumbs up icon to actually like it. Sure, you may say I'm just used to Google products, but it does seem like MS products are not as intuitive.

Mine has not been working for days and now it is March 06. This is very annoying so I hope they fix the issue fast!

As a meanwhile workaround, I've found hitting the 'back' browser button achieves the same effect (alt+left arrow in Edge), presuming the last page was your inbox.

I also started to experience this ugly problem as of last Friday (3 March). I am on Windows/Chrome (latest version) and clicking inbox doesn't change anything while I am viewing a specific email.
