This minor update is not related to the version of OneDrive..
- Uwe MeyerOct 31, 2018Copper ContributorMy Mac is now updated from Mojave 10.14 to 10.14.1 --> Should I retry installing OneDrive client or is this update not related to OneDrive?

I run the 2 commands
I deleted everything regarding OneDrive with App-Cleaner-Pro
I installed OneDrive
During setup, Onedrive informed me, that know "Files on demand" is available (a screen with 3 scenarios/options)
I finished the installation
I start OneDrive and login
OneDrive starts synchronization of all files/folders
Files-on-demand is available and by default active
I go to setting and disable the sync of all folders
After around 5 minutes, Onedrive shows errors, folders are already exists on my Mac
I delete the folders under my Onedrive
After this, I can again select folders to sync, this works, but no files-on-demand shown in my Onedrive-Folder

Did you run the commands I mentioned? Are you sure the script actually ran?
Do you see the options in OneDrive Preferences to "Turn On Files-On-Demand"
- Uwe MeyerOct 30, 2018Copper ContributorHi Aaron,
I chosed way 2 - remove OneDrive with App Cleaner Pro. After this, start installation, Login to Onedrive, and Onedrive starts immedialty with sync of all folders. It doesn't work on my Mac, maybe I need to wait of new version, this one looks from my side of view buggy ... - Jeffrey AllenOct 30, 2018Silver Contributor
After a reset of the MacBook and a second try of downloading again the ODfB preview, I installed and it seems that the client is working and not downloading all the files but with each reboot to relaunch the ODfB so that it shows the downloaded or cloud files is annoying but at least it seems to work.
