View how frequently anonymous users access a Teams meeting

Hello!

Is it possible via an Admin Centre, or PowerShell to view how often anonymous users joined Teams meetings?

I'm just after an overall number - something like 10 anonymous users attending our tenant hosted meetings this month, or similar.

Is it possible?

  • Yes, you can retrieve data on how often anonymous users have joined Teams meetings using the Microsoft Teams Admin Center or PowerShell.

    Microsoft Teams Admin Center

    1. Go to Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
    2. Navigate to Analytics & reports > Usage reports.
    3. Select Meeting Usage or Teams user activity report.
    4. You can filter by Anonymous users or look at the meeting participant details.
  • You can either export the file and use it in Excel to sort by the Tenant Name column or simply view it in the table. Here is a visual example:

Thanks - I cannot see however how to filter for Anonymous users in this report though?  Does this mean I don't have any to filter for?
