User Assigned Phone Number Removed
Hello all. We are in the process of migrating from a hybrid environment to AAD. As I am testing it out I am removing a couple test users (myself) from being synced via Azure Connect. So far it's work...
- May 15, 2023You can convert your users to cloud only users and then remove the Azure AD connect. Because if you deleted a synced users from local domain, it will automatically be deleted from Azure and therefore the user will lose all his settings on the cloud including the assigned phone numbers in teams admin center

That makes sense. Since we are hybrid, all of our users are in Azure already. So once we do plan on switching fully cloud, I can just switch off Azure Connect and all the users password/s and phone numbers will still be in tact?

once all users are converted to cloud only, everything will remain the same for you in the cloud.
