Updated Outlook Groups - Are Teams Aotomatically Updates?

I have set up several Teams based on existing Outlook (365) Groups.  I find this much easier to do in Outlook, particularly when they involve may Guests (outside the domain 365 organization) as part of the Group and the Team.  However, I from time to time add members (guest and domain) to the Outlook Group, yet these new members are not automatically added to the associated Team in the Teams app.  Is there a way to automatically sync these new members between the two apps.  It is very clumsy to have to delete the original group and start over.  If the new members are guests (out of domain), it seems near impossible to add them individually into the Team in the Teams app, which is biased in favor of domain participants.

When adding a user to an O365 group via Outlook, as long as you are sure that you are looking at the correct matching Team (and not a duplicated one with the same name), then it will have the same membership, however sometimes it can take some time for the change of membership to be visible in Teams.

    How long did you wait?

Rob Ellis It has now been two hours, and additions of guests (out of domain) to several Outlook Groups have not ported to the Teams formed from these groups.  Nor can I add guests through the add member/add people functions in Teams, whic seems to recognize only people with a domain email address.

Rob Ellis As you can imagine, I am the impatient Type A sort.  I am a long-time 365 user but new to Teams and am today going through the various online training, particularly for meetings.  Most of my teams are predominately "Guests" as I have my own consulting business and want to Teams for clients as far more secure tan Zoom, plus facilitates sharing documents, etc.  So let me give this a few hours and I'll check back here.  Thanks for the quick reply.

I agree with what Rob Ellis says here in that it can take a while to populate to Teams.  This is why I prefer to assign membership directly from Teams.  Interested to know what your issues are in setting it up this way?
