Teams Phone contacts in 'speed dial' don't have names, only their telephone number shows?

rolltide362 Hi there,
We have somewhat found a workaround which works on our Teams devices (Yealink MP56 Teams desk phones) which may be of use to you.
Instead of adding speed dial via Teams desktop, we've managed to get external contacts to show up by doing it this way:
- Create a new contact in the Teams Desktop app by going into Teams > Calls > View Contacts > 'Add contact' icon button.
- Create the contact with name & telephone number.
- Now go to 'People' in the Teams Phone, and the contact appears correctly with name.
- Select the contact on the desk phone and click the three dots > add to group > speed dial.
- The contact appears in the speed dial successfully, with their name, instead of only their phone number.
Hopefully this helps - the issue seems to be that when adding the contact to your speed dial inside the Desktop app (instead of on the phone itself) it glitches. Very strange! Hopefully this works for you too.
