Teams Machine wide installer - Feature Parity for the same release
Am I the only one who has noticed that the Machine wide installer does not have feature parity with current internet version? Examples:
1) No break out rooms
2) When joining a meeting you do not get the same prompts
3) Several other nuances when in a meeting.
It's like they kept the interface from a year ago. Is MS going to have feature parity between the two?

zz_Admin-John Ford As per previous post, machine-wide just initiates an install per-user, then it updates as normal.
Perhaps you are referring to installing on some Citrix, Horizon or other shared computing device. This doesn't have the same feature set as a regular desktop, it's had to be optimised for the shared environment.
- DJeffreyCopper ContributorWe use Machine-wide installer but then the updates take over and the users gets a current version in "C:\Users\USERID\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams\current". We originally thought that per machine would keep updating, and tried to stop the per-user version from installing, but that was not the right understanding.
