Teams DTMF tones without a Phone System License?
I am setting up an auto attendant with two menu options. Option 1 goes to a call queue and option 2 goes to voicemail. Can Teams users choose these options if they do not have a Phone System license? If so, how to do they send the DTMF tone? Or is there another way to accomplish the goal without needing DTMF?
We have found that users without a Phone System license can still use the dial pad when in a Teams call, not a PSTN call. This was the functionality I was looking for and allows our users to call our Global Service Desk call queue directly in Teams. The technicians answering those calls do need a Phone System license to be an agent in the call queue.

In case you are building the capability for Internal Users all the users who want to dial the Auto-Attendant will require the phone system license. In no way users will be able to dial the numbers without the phone system licenses.
Even when you create the Auto-Attendant to assign a Number to the AA you will need a Phone Number and Phone System License for the same.
