Teams Calender
Good Day,
Is there a resolve for this query?
The issue within the "Channel" Teams Calendar was, that once I schedule the event, it would automatically create a meeting, and this is clearly something i am trying to avoid

No, that is the way it works in Teams. All meetings with more than one participant (in this case you and the channel) will be a Teams meeting.
