Students, Teachers and domains

My subdomain accounts can't access the generated link of classes created by my domain accounts.

Faculty, teacher and staff members have been using Teams.
Teachers are creating classes so they can invite their students (which have a subdomain)

For some reason, the link redirects them to Teams Chat. And class codes won't work because they cannot invite guests.

Is there a step I'm missing?
