Skype to teams migrations
We are converting our user base from Skype to teams, a few things that are standing out as issues:
1) sync between mobile and desktop, still not working, skype goes away next week, when will this be fixed, HUGE ISSUE for user base
2) Some users are reporting that when they respond in a chat, that their reply is showing up above the next statement from the other participant, its very confusing and fastly becoming an issue.
3)Emoji's, will these be changed to a non-animated emoji? :)
4) issues installing and getting messages about "personal accounts not allowed" not clear how to get around this isxue, generally windows updates/uninstalls multiple times and eventually it works?
Thanks for any ideas on these issues!

We’re aware of some hiccups during the Skype to Teams migration. The sync between mobile and desktop isn’t perfect yet, and while Microsoft is working on a fix, there’s no set timeline. Some users have noticed chat replies showing above others’ messages, which can be confusing , this is a known issue that will improve soon. Teams uses animated emojis by default, and currently, there’s no option to switch them off. Lastly, the personal accounts not allowed error usually happens because Teams is mixing work and personal logins; uninstalling and reinstalling after clearing cached credentials often resolves it. Thanks for your patience as we smooth things out!

I used Skype Out for many years, but have been exasperated by the difficulty of transitioning to Teams. After much effort, I found my list of recent calls, but when I selected one and touched the phone icon with down arrow on the right, all I got was a Start Call button that did nothing when I touched it. I am using iOS 18.5. I’d really appreciate some help, as I am on the point of letting Microsoft keep my credit and switching to an easy-to-use app such as google Voice, MyTello or localphone.
I apologize if this post is in the wrong place—I am not familiar with this forum. I tried Microsoft’s feedback/help form, but got no response.
thanks

I am also having a very difficult time with the Skype to Microsoft migration - I have now been charged over $100 for a service I can't use after making new alternative, Microsoft accounts to use Teams for calling. After finally figuring out I will never be able to use the service, Microsoft is now tellling me that I cannot be refunded despite never using it. Is this how Microsoft treats its Skype users?
