Skype to teams migrations

I used Skype Out for many years, but have been exasperated by the difficulty of transitioning to Teams. After much effort, I found my list of recent calls, but when I selected one and touched the phone icon with down arrow on the right, all I got was a Start Call button that did nothing when I touched it. I am using iOS 18.5. I’d really appreciate some help, as I am on the point of letting Microsoft keep my credit and switching to an easy-to-use app such as google Voice, MyTello or localphone.

I apologize if this post is in the wrong place—I am not familiar with this forum. I tried Microsoft’s feedback/help form, but got no response.
