Shared Channel Vs Private Channel - Restrictions to only allow owners to create posts

My organization use "Shared Channels" for each department and then one "Private sub channel".  I am in need to restrict post so that only "Owners" are able to create post on all channels including the private channel. 

 

I am able to configure 'moderation" restrictions on all channels accept the "Private channel." 

General Channel

 

Sub Channel

 

Private Channel - There is no option to moderate and enable only "owners" to create posts? 

 

How can I restrict the private channel to only have owners create posts?

    Hi Kevinw7,

    unfortunately, Microsoft Teams do not have an option to set that only owners can create a posts in private channels.

    You can send you feature request as a feedback to Microsoft using Microsoft Teams by clicking on ... > "Help" (upper right corner) > "Give Feedback"
