Set calendar view as default when opening Teams
Hi, Is there a way to change the default app view when opening Teams desktop app? I have several users I want the view to default to the calendar and not chat. Rahamim.
Try setting up an App policy and rearranging the pinned apps so that Calendar has priority: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-app-setup-policies
If that doesnt work, I'm not aware of any other option.
I am hesitant to post this here for fear that Microsoft will cripple my solution, but I created a desktop shortcut with the following path:
msteams:/l/calendar
This shortcut now launches Microsoft Teams and opens to the Calendar tab.
This worked perfectly. So easy. Thank you so much. Straight into the calendar. 😀
