Retrieving Teams calls and messages
Query, can calls that occur over teams be accessed or replayed- please note that I do not meetings which were recorded but calls between teammates can they be retrieved, replayed, downloaded? Also ...

For the call aspect you would need to engage with a third party vendor as per:

As for chat, you would look to your eDiscovery options. If deleted you would be able to search for so long but that is where retention policies would come in if you needed to keep things to search against for longer. More info at:

In the same site also look to eDiscovery and Data locations via the table of contents.
