Ian_Lewczynski Solution on my computer was this option in sound control panel -> communications tab. I can't remember if this is default or if I set it at some point but we want to 'do nothing' rather than 'Reduce the volume of other sounds by 80%'
This solved the quiet sound at start of Teams call issue on my Poly CL3200 speakerphone, thanks!
