microsoft teams app on mac

Hello there,

I am having the utmost trouble with the microsoft teams app downloading to my mac. It is OS 10.10.5 version (so it's up to date). As soon as I open the teams app it goes to a "loading" page and stays a white blank page forever. 

 

I have tried restarting my mac, completely deleting the app from applications folder, and redownloaded. The app works on my iphone, and the program runs through the google chrome website but just not able to login and load through the app on my mac. 

 

Is there something wrong with teams or my mac? Are there further steps like the authenticator that I need to do? Why isn't the app able to open once I've login on my mac? Please someone help. Thanks!

    Hi sarahboo 

     

    If you have Mac OS 10.10.5, that makes it Yosemite, which is not supported by Teams app - please upgrade the OS to 10.11.x, or higher, as per the hardware requirements listed.
