Meeting not able to turn video on using ipad

Hi, tried this with a colleague earlier who was also using an iPad; before joining the meeting, the “video is off” was greyed out and thereafter I could see her but she could not see me. It did work well, however, in a video call.
Is there settings somewhere that could enable the video function in meetings? The iPad is running the latest operating system iPadOS 13.4.

I would appreciate any advise as this would be essential for giving remote lessons during school closure, thanks.

By default, video is fully supported on iOS devices. Your IT administrators may have disabled video calling for Teams via a Meetings policy. You should point them to this documentation - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/meeting-policies-in-teams

Thank you, had the admin on the case yesterday. They re-added me onto the policy for teachers and a few hours later it is now all working!

      thanks all
