Meeting Layout Frozen- MacOS

Good day,

Since the last update (Late July I think), Teams meetings are not working properly on MacBook 2016 with OS Big Sur 11.5.1. 

Everything works fine (Teams Main UI, browsing channels and their content), but only the meeting window (with the audio/video controls and the leave button) is frozen. Also when I click on any button it takes too long to actually trigger that button. 

I am now forced to use Microsoft Teams on Chrome browser and the user experience is really not as good as the native desktop app.

I wondered if anyone had faced the same issue or know anything about.
