Dial a cellphone from the User Profile (general and during in-progress meeting)
It seems that the cell phone from the user profile can only be dialled by:
- Typing it directly into the dial pad (or "/call"), implying it needs to be known or copy/paste
- Selecting it from "Calls" > "Contacts" > "Phone" column.
Frequent use case: While in scheduled or ad-hoc meeting you need to invite someone else to the meeting. That person may be out'n'about, and again, options to add people into the meeting present adding people via:
- (Teams call) or
- Typing the (cell) phone number
Similarly, user profile cards are not providing options to call a cellphone (from the user profile / AD).
When can we expect a change in the Desktop app interface to make it a little bit more conducive to call cell phones? Thanks.
