Custom Background In MS Teams
Does anyone know how to find this folder on your Mac? I came as far as the ~Library folder and then got hopelessly lost...

Put your custom backgrounds in:
~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Backgrounds

Microsoft
For MAC it should be under:
/Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Backgrounds/Uploads
- HIPRMApr 21, 2020Copper ContributorHi! I went to the area you listed, but under teams there is no backgrounds folder.
- CiiZiiMay 06, 2020Copper ContributorYeah, I had to create the Backgrounds folder, then under that, create the Uploads folder.
I put my jpg file in Uploads and the image was available for use as a background..

Hey, I am using a Mac but when I open the microsoft folder it doesn't show the teams folder. I would wish I could use custom backgrounds in meetings.
- mjglopesApr 15, 2020Copper ContributorYep!
But I still have to choose my background whenever I make or receive a call. I wish I had one by default

Hi potad - try this for macOS: /users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Backgrounds/Uploads

Kelly_Edinger it worked, thanks a lot
! I had to make the library folder visible when I got to [username] by clicking on 'actions' and 'show view options' and then ticking the box for 'Show library folder'
- HIPRMApr 21, 2020Copper ContributorWhich version of OSX are you on? I have Catalina and the folder is not in the Teams folder under Application Support.
