Copying Documents and Teams page

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible when using an existing Teams page to duplicate, is it possible to copy the documents embedded in the page as well and also have them link to the new share point created with the new Teams page? The end goal is to create a Team page template that will be ready to go for each project Team.

Thanks,

Heather

Not using out of the box functionality that I have seen, we did a very similar project using PowerShell/Microsoft Graph/PNP. We had a template site that would get copied, tabs and all files and setup the users from a CSV file.

You can copy an existing team when creating a new one but last time I tried that although the tabs were copied they needed setting up once the Team was created. You could then use the Copy functionality in SharePoint to copy the documents. If its an infrequent task then doing it manually may be an option.

hrussik It is not possible using the standard creation process but it is possible if you build a custom creation process.
