APPS icon went missing from desktop app of Teams
I recently signed up for the personal version of Teams and downloaded the desktop X64 version for Windows. At first, I had access to the APPS Store icon in the lower left above the round HELP icon, but now it is missing. I have found several others reporting this issue in the past year, but often the suggestions to solve did not work, and none of them (so far) have for me either.
I have tried restarting, signing out/in, and clearing the local cache files from my machine, reinstalling, disabling my GPU, signing in with Chrome (looks the same), signing in with the Android app (no apps there either).
When I search for the differences between the personal edition and business edition, I don't find any sense that the personal edition doesn't include access to apps. I'm stuck.
SteveGatz Hello again, ah.. I think I understand. You have simply signed in/up for Teams for personal use and not a Teams free org. and not using a business account either, correct?
Then you aren't going to access the apps or be able to change org. with the "switcher".

Just to show how it looks, this is from at Teams desktop app only using Teams personal and Teams free org. I can change between the two.

SteveGatz Hi, you have business/enterprise accounts where all is included, Teams free org. with some features and you can add a personal account within Teams with very limited features. To me it sounds as if you're in the personal view and need to use the "tenant switcher" called Accounts & orgs from the top right corner choosing your Teams free org. where you will find the apps again.

- SteveGatzCopper ContributorThanks for the reply ChristianJBergstrom.
I've located examples of the "tenant switcher" pulldown menu on Google Images. I have nothing like that anywhere on my screen nor in any account-related menu that I can find. Still stuck.
