add a link to a folder from a library to a private team channel
Hi,
I want to add a link to a folder from a library to a private team channel. Today, I can only do it by adding a website, but I would prefer to use the library. Do you know how to do it?
Hi Jrme_PERRICONE,
unfortunately, you cannot directly add a link to a folder from a library to a private team channel. When you add a library as a tab to a private channel, it will always point to the parent folder (the Document library) and not the specific folder you want to link to.
As a workaround, you could add the SharePoint folder URL as a website tab in your channel. Or create a new document library in SharePoint with the folder/ file structure you want and add that as a SharePoint tab. For more details, you can use this article:

(LinkedIn)- Joe_McLainCopper ContributorI haven't seen that Teams has the ability to add Websites to a tab in a private channel. Has something changed?

Hi Joe_McLain,
Microsoft Teams has the ability to add a website in a Private channel, nothing has changed.
Private channels are lacking the option to add some apps like Planner or Calender, but the option to add a Website to a tab is an option.
