Can you embed a Forms survey into an Outlook email?

Hi,

For convenience and design considerations, I would like to incorporate a Forms survey with 7 questions into an Outlook email.

Is this a possibility?

At a later date, I would like to improve the output and distribute it around my organisation. I am seeking for improved ways to disseminate user-friendly surveys. Right now, the only option I see is the poll tool, which only allows for one question or stars. Or a hyperlink, which people are less likely to use.

Thank you,

Oliver

    Hi Oliver9519,

unfortunately, Outlook does not currently support embedding Forms surveys directly into email messages.

you can try this "workaround" to achieve somthing close to your desired outcome:

Include a link to the survey

    1. Create your Forms survey and copy the link to the survey.
    2. Compose your Outlook email as usual.
    3. Insert a call to action to encourage recipients to take the survey. For example, you could say "Please take a few minutes to complete our survey by clicking on the following link: [survey link]"
    4. Send your email as usual.

Please click Mark as Best Response & Like if my post helped you to solve your issue.
This will help others to find the correct solution easily. It also closes the item.

If the post was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Like.

    Kindest regards,

Embedding a survey directly into an email can enhance engagement, but it depends on the email client’s compatibility. For Outlook, adding a survey as an HTML form might not work as expected due to restrictions, so including a user-friendly link is a reliable alternative.
