Office 365 E5 Data Loss prevention reports Bugged?
Did you find the recent DLP activities in audit logs?
Always it will take some time for the dashboards to catch up the activities. If you want to explore the DLP activities immediately then you need to do manual https://protection.office.com/#/unifiedauditlog.
In case you need to view it through a dashboard asap then you have to build your own using https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/office-365/get-started-with-office-365-management-apis or use any 3rd party tool like https://admindroid.com.

It would appear Audit logging wasn't enabled... interesting.
I will enable it and report back in a few hours.
Will this also allow me to see the reports pop up in the "DLP Report" under Security and Compliance center?- Robert LuckAug 23, 2017Iron Contributor
I always prefer to search the activities in audit logs instead of reports/dashboards as most of the dashboard and reports are based on daily aggregation it will take considerable delay (for some reports it will take a day).
I use the dashboards/reports to see the weekly/monthly usage statistics alone.

Thanks for the fast replies.
I will take note that the Dashboards are slower - but since I've been using it for 3 days now, it hasn't shown any activity at all! But this would be because the Audit Logging wasn't enabled, or would that be an incorrect assumption?
