Multitenant collaboration with existing guest users
Hi, we plan to set up Multitenant collaboration with a few tenants. Regarding this project I got 2 quesstions: 1.) what happens with users from one MTO who is already present as a guest users...
- Existing guest accounts are not merged into member accounts when you enable Multitenant Organization (MTO). Instead, cross-tenant synchronization creates a new “member-like” representation of the user in the target tenant.
- Yes, users accessing resources in another tenant are subject to that tenant Conditional Access policies, even if they are members of a different MTO. Your 9 hours reauthentication policy will apply when they sign in to your tenant’s resources.
