MFA conditional access lockout & can't access support
Hello, we are new to M365 and committed the cardinal sin of creating a conditional access policy that we applied to all admin accounts. This policy essentially prevents our admin accounts from logging in by endlessly looping the MFA enrolment process (we are actually enrolled in MSFT Authenticator MFA). We do not have emergency accounts set up.
All the posts I have seen say to call Microsoft M365 support, but starting I think in January 2025, Microsoft will not accept a support request via phone; no matter what you do in the phone support system, a robot says to file your support request via the M365 admin center. I also attempted to use Azure support, which says you must submit results via the Azure Portal. I see no way to submit a ticket via email. I even went to the old Bussiness Center and attempted to submit a ticket, but it was redirected to the M365 admin portal. Of course, we can't access the M365 admin portal... that is our problem. How do we get support in this situation? We are stuck in a terrible catch-22. Please help!
How about this?
- Sign-in Helper Tool: Use the Microsoft Sign-in Helper tool to reset your password. This tool might help you regain access to your account.
- Contact Partner Support: If you purchased your Microsoft 365 subscription through a partner, say CSP, you might need to contact them for assistance. They can help reassign admin permissions or provide alternative support options.
