M365 Copilot Android Application Not Working
I am using a Samsung S24 FE phone, and the Microsoft Copilot app is not working. When I open the app, I only see a black screen. I cannot open any menus. I cannot create or search for anything. There is only an empty home screen with dead buttons. I cannot sign out of my current account, nor can I figure out which account I am signed into (it logs in automatically).
Here’s what I have already tried, but the issue persists:
Enabled all permissions in the app settings.
Deleted and reinstalled the app.
Cleared the app cache and reopened it.
Cleared the app data and reopened it.

How about trying this:
- Try a Different Network
Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa.
- Force Stop + Reboot Combo
After clearing cache/data, force stop the app again, then restart your phone before launching it. This sometimes resets background services that get stuck.
- Check for System Updates
Make sure your Samsung S24 FE is running the latest Android OS and security patches. Compatibility issues can arise from outdated system software.
- Use the Bing App Temporarily
If you're trying to access Copilot features, the Bing app on Android offers similar functionality and may work more reliably for now.
- Try Logging in via Browser First
Visit copilot.microsoft.com in your mobile browser and sign in there.
