Hi Everyone, I can't get Outlook on my android phone (Samsung S9) to sync contact automatically with my Exchange (Microsoft Hosted Exchange) account. If I add a contact on the Outlook app running on my Windows 10 laptop, I can see it if I look on the Outlook for web. I have checked the usual settings on my phone: The only way to get the contacts to update is to reset the account: Contacts that I add on my phone (Exchange account) do not sync back to the online account. Outlook on my phone syncs emails with the same account normally. I've tried clearing data / cache, and even taken the extra step of uninstalling and reinstalling on my phone but it makes no difference Any suggestions gladly welcomed!2.4KViews0likes1CommentCannot Create Conversation on multiple ios and android devices with translator app.
Our schools heavily use the Microsoft Translator application on iOS and Android devices. Starting 10/2 all devices have started receiving the following error message "Cannot create a new conversation, please try again". This has been tested on iOS and Android devices and on multiple networks to verify the issue isn't related to filtering / firewall rules. Application has also been uninstalled / reinstalled and still receive the same error. It's clear this is affecting lots of customers yet we can't get any response from Microsoft on the issue. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5580071/microsoft-translator-conversation-feature-stopped?comment=question#comment-226168994Views0likes2CommentsMicrosoft Translator Conversation feature stopped working (“Unable to create new conversation”)
When trying to start a conversation, the mobile app (Android/iOS) shows the message: "Unable to create a new conversation. Try again." (Swedish version: "Det går inte att skapa en ny konversation. Försök igen.") About two weeks ago, the live transcription started to become very slow, with text appearing in large chunks instead of line by line. Shortly after that, the Conversation feature stopped working completely. We have tested this on multiple devices and platforms: – Android (several users, including myself) – iOS (tested by a colleague and a user we support) All users experience the same issue — no new conversation can be created. This function is used as a speech-to-text accessibility tool for deaf and hard-of-hearing users, so it is critical for communication support nationally in Sweden.21Views1like0CommentsM365 Copilot Android Application Not Working
I am using a Samsung S24 FE phone, and the Microsoft Copilot app is not working. When I open the app, I only see a black screen. I cannot open any menus. I cannot create or search for anything. There is only an empty home screen with dead buttons. I cannot sign out of my current account, nor can I figure out which account I am signed into (it logs in automatically). Here’s what I have already tried, but the issue persists: Enabled all permissions in the app settings. Deleted and reinstalled the app. Cleared the app cache and reopened it. Cleared the app data and reopened it.199Views0likes1Comment365 App Sign in & Edit Issues
Hello, I am attempting to edit a word document saved on OneDrive. I have the 365 app. The document opens and states I cannot edit unless I sign in. When clicking to sign it, it then states it cannot put my personal email (which is what the subscription is under) I need to put a work or school email and if it doesn't work then to contact said work or school. However, my subscription is my personal email and I am logged into the app with my personal email. I'm confused and need support please! Exact wording opening document: "This account does not allow editing on your device. For an account with full access, contact your organizational out your subscription plan" **For reference: I have frequently used my android phone for editing documents Exact wording when signing in: "We couldn't find a work or school account with that email address"793Views0likes2CommentsSMS Texting and syncing through Office 365
Before I switched from Comcast Business Exchange Account, I was able to set something in my Android phone to sync SMS messages to my Exchange account. Now that I use Office 365 Email for Business, I can't figure out how to set my Android 7 phone (Samsung S8) to continue syncing my SMS messages to my Office 365 Business email account. The usual methods of going to "setting" on the phone don't work. How do I link the two together again.14KViews1like3CommentsSave to vpn-connected cloud
I'm running MS 365 on my Samsung Ultra 24 android phone. When using MS Word and choosing the "save as" option, i am given a number of options such as this device, one drive, drop box etc. However I want to save to my NAS via the VPN that connects both my phone and NAS. Can this be done? Is there an Android app that integrates with MS 365 for this purpose? TIA ... Greg26Views0likes0CommentsPresenter Mode Failed to display on ChromeOS

I have a Samsung Galaxy A32 running Android 12. A few days ago, Onenote started telling me was running offline and wanted me to sign in. There was a sign in button on the screen but tapping it did nothing. I could still update notes and the changes would appear on other devices. I should have left it alone, but... I uninstalled Onenote, restarted the phone, and reinstalled it. Since then, when accessing any notebook, the app tells me the notebook isn't open and asks if I'd like to open it. After I tap OK, it says "Sorry, we couldn't open the notes that you were looking for. They may have been moved or deleted, or you may not have permission to open them." It does this for every notebook I try to access. The notebooks are accessible on Windows machines, using the app or a browser. If I try to use a browser on the phone, it flips to the app, or if the app is not installed, the browser asks if I want to install it. There is no access to my notebooks via the browser on the phone. The last steps I've tried are: 1. Clear data from the app 2. Uninstall the app 3. Restart the phone 4. Install the app It takes me right back to where I was, unable to access my notebooks. I also have an old LG tablet running Android 7. After doing the above 4 steps, the results are the same as I get on the phone. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for it? Tnx!Solved25KViews0likes10CommentsOffice 365 family - cannot edit shared calendar event on Android phone
Hi guys, For few years I am experiencing this weird behavior on android phone of my wife in regards of use of our family calendar Will try to describe how it is set and what is happening: We both have Office 365 family accounts (under one family) I have created new calendar under my account and shared to my wife account with edit permissions. If she use OWA she can work on events in our shared calendar without issues. If she try to edit event on Samsung mobile phone - in Samsung calendar app - she does not have edit option. She have delete option though. Tried in google calendar app and same - no edit option. If she create new event and save it - she has option to edit for approximately one minute. Than this option disappear. We have already changed phone at least twice and it is always the same. So I have been looking around internet for similar issue reported, but did not find exactly this behavior ... Any thoughts are welcomed ...Solved991Views0likes2Comments
