Information about incoming mails to another address

I am looking for a method or addin (also for a fee) to send information to another mailbox when a mail is received in an M365 mailbox. Neither the mail nor the subject should be forwarded. It is only about the information ("new mail in the mailbox email address removed for privacy reasons") I thought there was an option in the rules in the new Outlook M365 to select ‘Notify’ for actions. But it seems, there ist only forward and redirect.

Best regards

Thorsten

There might be specific add-ins that can monitor incoming emails and provide notifications without forwarding the content. Look for add-ins related to email management or notifications.

You can use this flow as a base and modify it according your needs:

You can achieve this in M365 by creating a rule in Outlook. While there’s no direct “Notify” action, you can set a rule to send a custom template email to another address when a new mail arrives. Here’s how:

Go to Settings > View all Outlook settings > Mail > Rules.
Create a new rule with the condition “When a message arrives.”
Set the action to “Send a message” and use a pre-written template like "New mail received in [mailbox address]."

That was what I was looking for. But unfortunately it's not to be found in OWA 365 at least. Since I'm from Germany, here are the options in english
