115 TopicsHow to Block OWA and Use the New Outlook Using a CA Policy
New guidance from Microsoft suggests that tenants wanting to block access to OWA while allowing people to use the new Outlook should deploy a conditional access policy. That’s good advice if a tenant has the necessary Entra P1 licenses and is willing to accept the loss of browser access to Teams. Microsoft 365 is a complicated interconnected place, and blocking one app can have consequences for another… https://office365itpros.com/2025/07/30/block-access-to-owa-new-outlook/39Views0likes0CommentsNew Outlook - can we get the view 3 lines shown in the new outlook?
I have tried to get the view 3 lines of UNREAD emails in the new outlook and the web version and it is just not possible. Do you think Microsoft 365 will bring it back in the next release? this helps so much when I need to skim many emails that came in overnight (as I work in a global role) :-)276Views1like3CommentsMS 365 Group Mailbox - New Outlook Search Not Working
We have just received a troubled call stating that the Search Feature inside of the MS 365 Group Mailboxes is not working. I reviewed this, and it is the same for all MS 365 Group Mailboxes, while the search feature dose work with all personal mailboxes. We are on the New Outlook platform and this issue is occurring for both Installed and web version of Outlook. Has anyone run across this or know of a fix? Hi, I'd like to put in for a feature request for Outlook Online, which I'm sure has come up before but I cant seem to find a similar request anywhere. Some of my team members use the premium desktop version of Outlook. They work mainly from a shared email account and arrange their emails by category. I've been trying to get team members to use the online version, but many outright refuse to use it because there is no sort by categories filter. When can we expect to see this filter implemented in the online version of outlook, considering categories is implemented in the online version already. Desktop App: Online equivalent: Thanks.Solved4KViews0likes3CommentsNew Outlook and OWA Control for Viewing Protected Email
The new TwoClickMailPreviewEnabled setting in the Exchange organization configuration controls if OWA and the new Outlook for Windows use two-click confirmation to open protected email. The new feature could be useful for people who commonly open confidential and protected email in situations where someone else could see what they’re reading. In other situations, it will irritate people. https://office365itpros.com/2025/06/03/two-click-confirmation-encrypted/139Views0likes0CommentsFamily Calendar iOS
I have two organisers (spouse an I) and one member (child) in my family. Spouse and I can see the family calendar listed in iOS's native Calendar app. Child has the same setup but cannot see the calendar in iOS's native Calendar app. If I logon to my email account on outlook.com the Calender shows both under Other Calendars and Group (same calendar entries). If I logon to my child's account on outlook.com the Calendar only shows under Group. How can I have it show under Other Calendars on my child's account? Also, in desperation I installed the Outlook app on my child's iphone and that doesn't show Group Calendars either.179Views0likes3CommentsSendto Onenote
