We would like to experiment with using the SharePoint Online Web part that allows you to display a group calendar on a SharePoint Online page. Our idea is to use a Viva Engage community as a means to create that group calendar so that the features of a community can also be used for this scenario. I assumed that it worked similarly to Microsoft Teams whereas along as the "HiddenFromExchangeClientsEnabled" property is FALSE for the connected group, that either all community admins/members would see the group calendar show up in Outlook automatically OR you could manually add the calendar in your calendar lists in Outlook. Neither seem to be the case. What's interesting about the group that connects to a Viva Engage community is the ""HiddenFromExchangeClientsEnabled" property is FALSE by default. However, the group calendar does not appear in Outlook. As a community admin, I tried to manually add the calendar and I get an error message "Couldn't add [group]. You may not have permissions". Does anyone know why I'm running into that error and/or why the group mailbox is not showing up in Outlook by default since the property states that it is not hidden? Is it not possible to view Viva Engage group calendars in Outlook? Thanks!1KViews1like3CommentsReplying to emails from M365 Outlook group
A problem I am stumped with, so I am reaching out for some help/guidance. One group wants to not have the emails going into their own inbox but manage and reply only from the group inbox itself (so they know the email has been processed by deleting it once replied). It worked OK to begin with and then some users couldn't reply, then more. Some still can. I have tried reindexing local copy, using browser instead of app & changing the send on behalf of permissions. Owner or member of group doesn't seem to make a difference. Error messages include "This message can't be sent because it no longer exists. It can only be discarded. Make sure you copy the contents of the message before you discard if you want to use them later." and "Couldn't send this message". Please see screenshots attached. My questions: 1: Is Outlook on M365 designed to allow users to reply from the group either as the "group" or as themselves? Information I found isn't clear. 2: If it is / can be - what can I do to make it work for all users? Thanks!187Views0likes2CommentsOutlook Web App - Move to no longer moves focus to the search box
Hi, I'm requesting a change back to a previous behavior in Outlook Web App for the "Move to" button. Previously, I could click this button and the small search box was selected as text focus. This means I could click once and then type the name of a folder to which I could move that email. Now, clicking the "Move to" button shows the list of recent folders, but does not move the cursor into the search box. Thus, it requires an additional click to search for a folder. The previous workflow is more efficient and please consider reverting to that behavior! -MMSolved1.8KViews4likes5CommentsIntegrating Microsoft Groups and Team Channels
We have a Shared Inbox called mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons that is shared with me and a member of the company. I'd like to convert this into a Microsoft Group to use it internally in Teams Chat and receive emails in Outlook under the Groups section. I'd also like to create a channel where all the files we want to share are available inside Teams. So, is there a way to integrate a group as a channel in Teams, or is there a different approach?80Views0likes1CommentOutlook for Mac - Upload and Share is not working as access "Recipients of this message" is missing
New Outlook for Mac has since some versions back gotten the feature where the user can upload a file and share it to the recipients of the e-mail. The file will be per default be uploaded to DOWNLOAD folder in OneDrive. Now this is not working on Outlook for Mac as the whole access permission Recipients of this message" is missing. On Windows and Outlook on Web, this is available, but not for New Outlook for Mac. It seems that this feature is not yet fully developed on Outlook for Mac. Any others that see the same and can confirm?103Views1like2CommentsEffortless Time Tracking in Teams, Outlook and M365 Copilot
How do you stay in the flow of work when tasks move across Teams, Outlook and now M365 Copilot? Many of us already collaborate and manage our day in these Microsoft 365 tools, but logging time often feels like something separate that interrupts our focus. With https://www.klynke.com/ time tracking stays right where your work happens. Hi, I have a personal email on outlook.com (with Microsoft 365 Familly). I always use the web client from https://outlook.live.com. If I send an Email to a non existant address, I never receive any NDR. I have check my spam folder, there is nothing. I have no rules, no Email transfert, no IMAP configuration, no POP configuration, ... That seems useless, but some time I wait some answer from people, and I discover after weeks that I have made a small error in their Email. I already miss important business because off that. And I can't call my client each time I send an Email to be sure they get it. How can I receive the NDR ? Thanks for your help.48Views0likes2CommentsOutlook group contact reappearing after removal
One of my users has an Outlook group with 15-20 contacts in it. A terminated user's email address refuses to be removed causing email bounce backs. When removed from the group and refreshed the contact reappears after changes were saved. Keep in mind that other contacts have been added and removed without issue. I have attempted to remove the user via desktop app and OWA. Cleared web cache, cookies, etc. Account has also been fully deleted from 365 at this point yet the contact remains. How do I banish this contact?96Views0likes1CommentHow to Block OWA and Use the New Outlook Using a CA Policy
New guidance from Microsoft suggests that tenants wanting to block access to OWA while allowing people to use the new Outlook should deploy a conditional access policy. That’s good advice if a tenant has the necessary Entra P1 licenses and is willing to accept the loss of browser access to Teams. Microsoft 365 is a complicated interconnected place, and blocking one app can have consequences for another… https://office365itpros.com/2025/07/30/block-access-to-owa-new-outlook/64Views0likes0Comments
