How to prevent viewers downloading shared document in MS 365?
I find this article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/block-downloads-for-view-only-files-in-sharepoint-and-onedrive-6051184b-62ac-4149-b874-13dcd40ef91e but it does not work anymore.
My office do not show "block download" option. I think this option should be there for all user or at least subscribed ones. Is there any workaround? THANKS!
- Can you see the "block download" control for other file types, say Word documents? If no, it might be that an admin has disabled this functionality for you. Also, this is only available for files stored in OneDrive for Business, not personal ones.
VasilMichev It's a shame, why do they let other download personal users' files?

Also, it is mentioned how to Enable it. Please let us know if that was already tried.
- My point is, I'm personal user, I need that option to block viewers from downloading my files, I am not in any organization
I need to hide these button when sharing my office files.
