Excel Spreadsheet in Word formatted as a picture
Hello all,
I'm having an issue where a spreadsheet "object" I have inserted into a word document will revert to being formatted as a picture. I typically have no issues with it until I load up the file days later - The spreadsheet windows which were previously editable are now formatted as pictures. When this happens I usually just have to recreate this spreadsheet from scratch, any ideas on how to prevent this problem?
For some added context, I am using an embedded spreadsheet rather than a Word table for the ability to reorder my table rows easily.
Thanks,
Payton

What is the edition of WORD and it was the latest version?
For the Excel file, do they only happen in the same file or all files?
- pdkaye01Copper ContributorI'm in the latest edition of Word.
And I'm basically copying a "template" word document that has this spreadsheet in it. It seems like the problem usually occurs after I copy and rename the file.
