So I made a post last time where I asked Microsoft before to bring back the new Microsoft rewards dashboard but they didn't bring it back yet sadly so here is a repost The main reason why I want this new rewards dashboard is cause 1 ) I really like the dashboard it's so refreshing and 2) I was going to get a LOT of bonus points (like +1800 points) but I wasn't able to get that cause Microsoft removed the new dashboard and that's all that I will say for now And since they removed the new Microsoft rewards dashboard I am very sad so Microsoft please bring this back and it would be really appreciated if you would give me a reason why you guys removed the dashboard, so thank you guys anyway 🫠48Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft can you bring back the new microsoft rewards dashboard
Yeah i know its not related to anything but it is related to Microsoft rewards program (and dashboard) yesterday when I saw this dashboard i was shocked because I can get a lot of points in bonuses at the first day of next month. Since i was close to my rewards goal worth 6550 points, i was very happy to be able to claim my goal although it was still being restocked. the goal (400 robux digital card) was discounted by 200 points because in the new dashboard, i was able to claim it and now its 200pts less. Now today i'm very sad. why did they remove the new rewards dashboard? I dont know but what i only know is that i wont be able to claim it sooner than until few months from now which sucks and is very sad microsoft. That is why you (Microsoft) should bring the new rewards dashboard back because of this situation. and also the roblox 400 robux digital card should be restocked soon I hope. Thanks microsoft if you're able to fix this issue, and if you can kindly give me a reason why you rolled back the original rewards dashboard prior to yesterday (I was lucky I saw it though, i got a lot of points from that heheh until today..)🫠275Views2likes0CommentsOffice 365 issues
We have an end user that started with us approximately a year ago. Shortly after he started he began noticing that his status would go away on a fairly regular basis on MS Teams. We tried uninstall/reinstall, resetting, repairing and the problem persisted. Since he was a relatively new hire we were thinking it was something with his laptop so we replaced and the issue returned. Turned in a ticket with our Office 365 vendor who in turn opened a ticket with Microsoft. After some initial testing they sent a Teams install file that seemed to fix the issue. Since that time he has regularly had issues with Teams disconnecting, Outlook just stop receiving emails, while showing connected. Typically the only fix was a restart and on some occasions that did not work. Sometimes a reset or repair might fix this issue. Throughout this we did clear credential manager, caches, etc...This got a point yesterday where I created a new user profile for him, basically like a new laptop and it temporarily fixed the Teams and Outlook issue, however when attempting to sign into MS Edge it would just spin and had to use task manager to close the app. Tried a repair on the app as you cannot uninstall and same result it would hang up and have to forcibly closed. Just wondering if someone else has encountered something like this and possible fixes. Thanks100Views0likes1CommentOutlook "Classic" issues
Without any changes being made to my system, I am suddenly getting the following error message when trying to send/receive mail. Task 'email address removed for privacy reasons: Folder:Inbox Check for new mail.' reported error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot download folder Inbox from the IMAP email server for account email address removed for privacy reasons. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).' I have followed all of the suggested solutions that I could find including editing the registry but nothing is working. Hope someone can help as thjis is a big problem for me.Solved81Views0likes2CommentsDisable incessant nagware popups
I don't know about everyone else, but I am sick and tired of the nagware pop ups in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Every single product harasses me with pop ups trying to tell me "hey, did you know this feature was here?", "you can do this if you click that", "let me hold your hand through using products you've used for decades even though you don't want daddy Microslop to do that". This is a prime example. I keep getting the same ones again and again and again and everything I've read indicates they should only appear once. But they don't. They keep coming back like a psychotic stalker ex who wants alimony even though you were never married. How do I get this nagware to stop?!88Views0likes1CommentBookings Page not sending confirmation emails to customers
Hello, I am the main technician for my company's service desk. We have a Bookings page, but any time anyone books a time slot, they receive a message indicating that they will receive a confirmation email, but no email comes to them. In the settings, it shows the checkbox to send a confirmation email is checked. I have also looked in Exchange Admin and run a message trace and cannot find any confirmation email sent to myself or other testers. In Bookings, I have unchecked the confirmation email checkbox, saved, checked, saved, and tested - same result. Additionally, this Bookings page is only for internal users, and all of them are 'customers' with their full organization email address. In researching, I found that there was mention of the Bookings needing to have an Exchange account as a shared mailbox, which I do not believe we have - when I search the email that confirms for me that someone has booked with me, it is a long string of seemingly random letters and numbers with an internal domain address. I have also tried searching in Exchange Admin for 'IT' 'Service Desk' 'Service', and 'Desk', none of which have any results under Mailboxes (which would include shared mailboxes). Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Screenshot:361Views0likes2CommentsMicrosoft Edge Webview icon
I'm I in the right community? My Widgets Icon on my toolbar doesn't open even with the Widgets turned on in the settings. Could you help me? I am the administrator. I have the Edition Windows 11 Home Version, 23H2, with a Windows Feature Experience Pack. I have Windows 11 software and has been updated recently. Everything under Task Manager, details, mswebview.exe is running, however, the window doesn't appear on the home screen. Could this be an easy fix? TIA Joseph256Views0likes4CommentsMultiple word documents are open simultaneously causing performance issues.
Does anyone know what the optimal size of Word documents should be if you have multiple word documents open simultaneously? I frequently access two Word documents at are about 800KB each. When I have both open, I notice a significant performance degradation when I do searches, add/modify/delete contact, toggle between the documents. This really impacts my productivity. I am wondering I should reduce the size of these files or move them to a different drive or memory stick to improve performance. I don't want to break these documents up yet given that instead of having two Word documents open, I might have four Word documents open simultaneously and still have the performance issues. I have performed online repairs of Microsoft 365 and checked my addins but nothing seems to help.172Views0likes1CommentIs there no way to allow people to comment on my word document?
I am trying to share something I am working on with beta readers and some friends but the only options are "can edit" or "can view". There is no option for "can comment" or to let them viewers use the review function. I asked for help with the issue and got told that because my account is personal OneDrive and not business that there is no review only feature. Was that a mistake or is Microsoft really this behind on basic features? Google Drive has allowed giving people access with "comment only" for years.Solved688Views1like2CommentsOffice updater logs false “UpdateEnabled not found” warning despite registry compliance
Body: OfficeClickToRun.exe logs the following during scheduled updates: Code UpdateEnabled property not found in registry. Click-to-Run client found. Triggering update... Office update routine completed. However, all relevant registry flags under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun are correctly set (UpdateEnabled, EnableAutomaticUpdates, OfficeAutomaticUpdates, etc. = 1). ProcMon confirms the updater queries this path, yet logs NAME NOT FOUND. Updates still succeed (LastScenarioResult: Success), so this appears to be a cosmetic error from legacy registry validation. It confuses admins and monitoring systems. Ask: Can Microsoft standardize updater checks to avoid false warnings? Is this legacy logic still active in current Office builds?67Views0likes0Comments
