2 OneDrive Clients - 1 syncs "strange" (OD thinks there is no internet connection)
Hi,
i have some issues with OneDrive on my laptop.
The Laptop is member of a local domain, running in hybrid config with AzureAD.
I connected two O365 Tenants; one is connected to the account of the local domain; the other one a "third office 365 business" tenant.
When i try to download a file of the "3rd OD Account" i get a message of OneDrive ... "Online file cant be open ; you're not connected to the internet". When i chosse "Download later" OneDrive starts downloading the file immediately"
I evaluated some thing that might cause this behavior, none of them finally worked... being behind the proxy at work isnt it too; also doenst work when connected to the internet directly.
A short demo of my issue here: https://youtu.be/C-cVnD6vekE
Maybe anyone can give me ideas how to fix it ...
(some weeks ago it worked fine; and colleagues of mine got the same "error"; they have only one OD Connected; so i assume there is a config issue on the clients)
Thx in advance
Sebastian

- It’s Probabaly one of two things. You have files on demand on and you have the option on the office tab if your onedrive client option Unchecked where it says to use office to sync the files or something along those lines.
Two. You said you have a proxy and this def. raises a red flag as the office clients usually piggy back off IE settings to open office files direct from SharePoint (Onedrive). Make sure the proxy checkboxes aren’t check in IE settings and try from there.- Basti-NofvCopper Contributor
ChrisWebbTechTo the Proxy theorie …. there is no red flag ever, either when connected at work (behind Proxy) or at home (just WiFi)….. the issue stays at work and at home (or mobile connected whatever sort of internet connection i get^^)
I will check the Office sync Checkbox …..
