How do I exclude certain part of email from being scanned?
Hi there, I have enabled client-side auto Sensitivity labelling for emails in a tenant for PII detection using pre-built SIT & Trainable Classifiers. However, the issue is that the Email signature automatically makes the check true and applies the label automatically, which I want to avoid. Is there a way for me to exclude the signature part of the email from being excluded? Like
Can a "Qualifying desktop OS" be paper only?
Some VL licensed Windows editions require a pre-existing "Qualifying desktop OS", which must be one of the consumer-grade editions. Question to VL experts is if that "Qualifying desktop OS" can take the form of a paper only license kept on file and reserved for filling that role . The scenarios considered are new virtual machines and clean OS install on physical hardware (which may or may not have an irrelevant OEM key in BIOS). Because installing and immediately wiping an OS image of lower quality/value on each machine would be an obvious waste of time . Also, when the VL licensed OS is an LTSC edition dated at least 1 month before install, automatic consumer grade updates to latest consumer channel version could make installing the chosen LTSC edition technically a "version downgrade in place" which tends to not work (at least for past Windows versions).Windows 11 24H2 deployment takes more time
Hi everyone, I was used to spin up a new W11 VM in seconds. With the great improvement of Windows Setup the procedure to apply an OS image takes much longer. What is changed else? The Windows updates API in Microsoft Graph now offers easy access to data on Windows known issues and product lifecycle. Starting today, you will be able retrieve the data available on Microsoft Lifecycle Policy site, known issues, and Windows release information pages via this API. It’s the same information that’s part of the Windows release health dashboard or Microsoft 365 admin center. We plan to add more classes of data later this year. I have recently encountered an issue trying to add or remove certain features to and from servers. It appears to have started after applying the February 2024 patches; I may have even narrowed it down to the latest servicing stack update, v10.0.17763.5441. After applying these updates, trying to install ADDS, DHCP and DNS services results in a failure every time with error 0x80073701. In addition, trying to remove these same services from other domain controllers that have the 2/2024 patches results in the same error. I am replacing Server 2016 domain controllers with Server 2019 DCs. It also fails trying to add the features via PowerShell. CBS log shows "no parent found, go absent" errors for KB5034768 and KB5014692. I have tried uninstalling KB5034768 and then adding the roles, but I get the same error. Obviously, I am unable to uninstall the servicing stack and that's what leads me to believe it was that which started this. I had built and replaced about 8 other DCs without issue prior to this, but they had not first gotten the 2/2024 updates. I cannot find any information on the internet of others having this issue which is surprising to me. We are a VMware environment and I build servers from a template, and unfortunately, before the most recent build, when this started happening, I had refreshed the template with the 2/2024 patches. System File Checker wasn't much help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
